• Hi,

Can anyone help me with this issue I’m having? I just posted a pic with some text at bottom and published it but I don’t see the post published on the sites main page. I only see it in the categories. Never had this problem before with WP. Any suggestions on what I’m doing or a setting has been messed with? that I need to know and change back. Please advise.

    Thank you
    Bergy

Super cache is a plugin. https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/

Go to Settings->Wp Super Cache->click on Tester & Contents and click the “Delete cache” button.

Sweet. I think I got it working again. The only problem now is the categories links. My category pages seems to be empty. this is how the link is…
https://www.hairywomanhairypussy.com/hairy-amateurs/ is that how it suppose to be?

    Thank you

Now I see a warning in the super cache page…

/home/bknfcom/domains/hairywomanhairypussy.com/ is writable. Please make it readonly after your page is generated as this is a security risk.

how do I make it readonly?

Your category page url depends on permalink settings. Try to update permalink settings and see if all the links are ok.

You can do it through CPanel, ask your hosting support for detailed instructions.

    Reuben,

If I want to make the category links like this… https://example.com/category/post-name/ what do I need to do in the permalinks page in order to get it that way?

    Thanks

Argh. I just did a new test post but its not on the site. It has to be some settings on super cache plug in. but for the life of me I can not figure it out.

Could it also be a .htaccess issue?

It’s an awesome plugin but you just gotta know how to use it. Always clear the cache after publishing a new post, I guess there is a setting for that but I don’t remember where.

Meaning always delete cache after publishing new post?

If the site is not updated..

ok. This is checked… Clear all cache files when a post or page is published. so I assume every post I make the cache is cleared?
