Published blog post not showing up

    We have just published a new post and are able to see it when in admin mode. However, when logged out, the post does not appear. Any advice is appreciated. The website is https://godscoach.com. Thanks.

  • When clicking on the Blog page, the most recent post I see at the top is dated from Thursday, July 23rd 2015 and titled Are you losing it at work?.

    I can access the post when clicking the title here.

    Is this the post you were referring to (because it seems to be working fine over here) or was it another?

    Hi Lucille,

    That’s the one! I just checked also, and it’s appearing now. Strange. I didn’t do anything. The hosting company is getting ready to do maintenance; so, maybe that’s the culprit. Thank you very much.

    Although the blog post is displaying now, the categories were changed, and we didn’t change them. The initial categories that were selected are no longer selected. Can certain categories cause the post not to show up? I have researched this topic and can’t find anything. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

    This issue could be caused by a recent update to a plugin, theme, or the WordPress core files. Have you installed any recent updates on your website?
