Published on Time/date reset after updating post

Hi,

Is there a way, or plugin, that would allow for the following:

When a post is edited and then “Update” submitted – the “Published on” date is reset from the original “Published on” date to the time of the last update.

So that ultimately the visible post, if using the date in the loop, shows the date of the last update/edit.
