When I try to publish a post, I get the following error message:

    ————————-
WordPress database error: [Duplicate entry ‘0’ for key 1]
    INSERT INTO wp_postmeta (post_id,meta_key,meta_value) VALUES (‘0′,’_pingme’,’1′)

WordPress database error: [Duplicate entry ‘0’ for key 1]
    INSERT INTO wp_postmeta (post_id,meta_key,meta_value) VALUES (‘0′,’_encloseme’,’1′)
    —————————

Also, when I try to save drafts, they simply disappear.

My host has been having server problems (lots of sites were down for days), and this problem has started after the site went back online.

Does anybody know whether this is a WordPress glitch or the host’s problem?

If it’s the host’s problem, any ideas on what I should ask them about when I call their support?

    Thanks!

For the benefit of people who may have the same problem later – this was the host’s issue; write to them quoting the error message, and they’ll sort it out.
