Publishing failed. Error message: Could not update post in the database

  • I keep getting this error message when I try to add a new post to my blog: “Publishing failed. Error message: Could not update post in the database”

    I saw similar problems in the forum, but the resolutions did not work for me.

    Can someone help please?

    Before this error happened, what exactly you did to the site?

    For example, WP update? plugin update or installation? Theme update? change files? Something else?

    I don’t recall any changes in particular, to be honest.
