    Hi All,

    I need help.

    I am getting this error “Publishing failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.” while publishing/saving any page or post using block editor.

    domain: https://referrgenics.com/

    It is a new domain. 0 plugin is installed. Default Theme is there but still getting that error.

    I tried multiple ways like:
    1. .htaccess edit
    2. permalink change
    3. classic editor

    classic editor solved the issue but I am not comfortable with that.

    Please help so that I can use block editor.

    It may be a lot of different things:
    – a plugin conflict either 1) a plugin doing something that creates output, thus breaking the response or 2) a plugin doing something with caching),
    – an overloaded server,
    – misconfigured http/https address in General Settings,
    – permalinks may need resetting,
    – theme/plugin conflict,
    – check Site Health: From your WordPress dashboard, if you go to Tools and then select Site Health, then under the Status tab on that page, WordPress will show you any improvement recommendations that could help your website. An issue related to Rest API could also cause the JSON response error on your website. Moreover, if you find any issue there, solving the issue might also fix the JSON response error for your website, etc.

    @t-p Thank you for the response. I did all the steps mentioned in wpbeginner website but it was not working for me.

    My issue is resolved.

    I mailed my hosting provider about the issue and they said there were some blocking rules that got triggered which can only be removed by their end. They removed the blockings and issue is resolved.
