    Hi Have been using you’re Great plugin for a while now (I did have the publicize variable excluded (before new version), just upgraded to new version hoping to see if it resolve an issue I have because I’m a bit forgetful. I duplicate a post change it and on a number of occasions forget to re-tick the publicize tick box before I publish the post. (then its too late) Is there anyway that the box can be ticked so it publicizes the post by default?? as it does with a new post. If so That would be great.

    Hi,
    are you talking about Jetpack Publicize?
    I’ll try to look into the issue to see what can be done.

    Hi Lopo,

    Yes the Jetpack Publicize, I think what is happening is the tick box is unticked when the original post is published so Duplicate post is copying as it is, but if that box could be reticked that would be great that way duplicated post make it to facebook ect, without and extra user intervantion. Sorry for typo in title Boc should have read Box.

    sorry for the delay but I had to find the time to do some tests.
    It really seems I can’t reproduce the bug:

    • I create a brand new post: the checkbox is checked by default.
    • I publish it and it’s shared on Facebook
    • when the edit screen reloads, the original post has the checkbox disabled. Then I click on “Copy to a new draft” below it
    • I’m redirected to a draft copy of the original post, where the checkbox is enabled and checked, just as it were a new post

    Is it same sequence of actions you do?

    Are you sure you have the latest version of my plugin (v3.1.2)?
    Which version of Jetpack are you using? (The latest is v4.7)? And the WordPress version?

    Hi Lopo,

    Having retested since you reply all does now look fine, I will have updated plugins since initial post so maybe this resolved it, many thanks for your assistance it is much appreciated,
