• to be honest it sounded great at first, the first try was promising as well as i was seeking something that would work flawlessly with generatepress. so i made the initial mistake and bought the pro version for dev support even if not needed yet.

i’ve tried more than three hours to expand an existing generatepress menu with this – or to replace it with quadmenu.
sadly practically nothing (!) worked flawlessly. so theres no way to keep the great options of gp regarding search in menu and sticky, as well as mobile functions. completely replacing the original menu is quite desastrous. despite there are plenty of options given theres no chance to even get near the look and feel of the original menu especially on mobile – which gives tons of errors and unexpected behaviour either which way, this didnt work at all. in addition the settings are not that clear and easy to follow.

maybe i havent fiddled long enough and maybe i even didnt understand everything right. but in my opinion this is totally poor integration in every aspect! especially since generatepress is mentioned as supported and has its own demo – so i’d expect it to work seamlessly out of the box! and sadly theres no tut how to proper implement it with generatepress to make it work right …

given that i wont use it again for now to prevent another nightmare. maybe another time. sorry. hope theres an refund for the pro version.
