Pulling data into 2 different Piwik installs – is it possible?

  • Hi.

    I might be bending the rules a little, but I just wanted to know if its possible to have data from a single site being displayed in 2 separate Piwik installs.

    I’m building some multisite networks and I want each network to house its own ‘network analytics’ and I also want to see a complete view of all of my networks on my ‘global analytics’ install.

    So I guess what I’m asking is that if 2 instances of the piwik code are used on the same site will the data be shown accurately to both Piwik installs?

    and can this be handled effectively using the WP-Piwik plugin?

    This can’t be handled by WP-Piwik. Of course you can add a second tracking code to each site, but I really advise you against doing so.
