• My blog is one level below my home page. I’d like to be able to pull out linked headlines for the top 3 or 4 entries onto my homepage. I assume this can be done with some PHP coding…

    Does anyone have this code, or is it residing somewhere on this site?

I would like to be able to specify which category (or all categories), the amount of headlines, as well as be able to truncate the headlines to a specific number of characters:

    Sticky Posts feature will place the new or published post at the top of the front page without changing the timestamp. In WordPress 2.7 Sticky Posts is a built in feature which has Sticky Posts check box on the write screens and also in Quick Edit screen.
