Pulling text out of .doc or .pdf attachments?

    Why go through the trouble of creating a file and attaching it to an email? Just put the content in the email either directly or via cut & paste.

    I’m trying to be able to just forward emails I have received with attachments already on them.

    I think you are going to have to find some kind of other process to get the text into a post. Extracting text from PDF and DOC isn’t trivial and there are lots of issues to deal with (such as formatting that doesn’t match your theme and embedded images).
