• Here is an example post:

    https://mpisccintercom.com/creating-a-lasting-legacy/

All posts have sudden – meaning, everything was working properly yesterday – problems with punctuation marks changed to weird character sets.

In the post I linked above, it reads:
I am humbled, honored and privileged to be your President this year,? and am excited for this opportunity to share the Board of Directorsa€? plans, to ? benefit you, our members, and our chapter in the year ahead.

    It is supposed to read:
I am humbled, honored and privileged to be your President this year, and am excited for this opportunity to share the Board of Directors’ plans, to benefit you, our members, and our chapter in the year ahead.

This is happening in Mozille – Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

I’ve looked at the code view, which is working as intended. I’ve asked the server support team to look into it. I’ve asked the theme developer to look into it. And now I’m asking here.

Has anyone had this issue with WP? Why did it happen? How can I fix it without having to edit every post?

    Thank you.

Try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible. If none are, keep all plugins deactivated and switch to the Twenty Fifteen/ Fourteen theme to see whether it could an issue with your theme.
