Purchase button in Buy Now screen doesn’t work

    Hi everyone!

    I’m having this weird issue with payments after some of the last updates. I’ve been using “Buy Now” for so long time to skip the Checkout, however, now it doesn’t work.

    After filling all of the card info and clicking on “Purchase” button, nothing happens. See here https://imgur.com/nAWEhx1

    When I enable checkout and not direct “Buy Now” button, everything works well which shows that IT IS NOT the problem with payment gateway but with the EDD.

    What could be an issue here?

    Hi @semirmirse

    What is the EDD version that you are running on the site and what is the Payment gateway that you use? I just tested this flow using latest EDD version and Stripe as payment gateway and the purchase process works correctly for Buy Now buttons.

    Version I’m using is “Version 3.3.2” and it’s free version of EDD. It’s Stripe Gateway.

    Could the problem that nothing happens when I click “$2.99 – Purchase” be something with the theme template of my website?

    As I said before, payment works normally when using checkout page, however, when using “Buy Now” method, it doesn’t.

    Hi!

    It is possible yes. The best way to test this is to deactivate all other plugins except for EDD and change to a default theme like 2024. See how it’s working with that and if it does work, then you need to activate things back, one by one, while testing to find out what breaks it.
