    Hi
I really need some help after I migrated the website to another web host. Now when we go to orders in the admin area, the purchase date has changed to the date we did the migration. For example the original purchase may have been on the 1st of April 2018, but now it shows as today.

And instead of an order being made up of 4 products, now in Orders each item is itemized with it’s own order number. I have added a link to a media file of a screen capture of what I am talking about.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Can you please provide some details on HOW you did the migration?

    Many thanks

Sure I can do that. All I did was, I just changed the database details in the wp-config.php file to use the staging site database.

    Hey,

So, technically it’s not even a migration. That’s really weird. Quick question, what if you revert back to the live database, are orders dates correct?

Then it goes back to the date correct date format. Somehow it thinks we migrated the orders when we just used the same database we used on the staging site.

    Hey,

Ok so for some reason the CSV file might be wrong or at least doesn’t have the correct dates, I’d suggest checking if the CSV is properly created, with correct data as a first step.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
