    I have the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin in place, but it stopped firing for the purchase event (not a custom event) and it is fine for all other events (pageview, add to cart, initiate checkout etc…).

    Plus, on the plugin, I can’t seem to connect. I click on the “Get Started” button, I get a pop up window for facebook and nothing shows up. All blank.

    Can anyone help please?

    It seems that you’re experiencing two issues:

    1. The Facebook for WooCommerce plugin has stopped firing for the purchase event.
    2. You’re unable to connect the plugin to Facebook.

    Firstly, for the purchase event, it could be due to a number of reasons such as a conflict with another plugin or a problem with the Facebook pixel. First, ensure that you have the latest version of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin installed, including WooCommerce. If all are up-to-date, kindly check if there are any other plugins that might interfere with it by performing a conflict test.     Regarding the second issue, this could be the cause of caching, so I’d suggest navigating to WooCommerceStatusTools, and trying the following to see if this makes any difference:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
