Purchase event fires twice – in order-pay and order-received page

Purchase event fires twice – once in order-pay page (not the right page) and second on order-received page (the right page) which causes double purchase value and count on Facebook campaign data.
When the plugin is off the problem doesn’t happen.
Will appreciate help in fixing that.
