I am adding this to an existing product database that has the “Cost” plugin. Is there any way to be able to port/import/use the cost that already exists in the database for the product?

And why is “purchase price” not on the product page itself anyway? It should be right under Supplier and Supplier Part Number.

    Hi SpectrumMarcom,

Thank you very much for your post.

I am glad you are using ATUM and very sorry you feel disappointed about the placement of the Purchase Price. We have noted your request of placing it below the Suppliers field. We have lot of users that request the price to be together with the other prices so it is directly visible on smaller screen or mobiles. In our opinion it is best for the UX. We need to think of users running only small shops or making their own items.

I would be very happy to help you with cost price import, but the bulk import-export feature is not developed yet. We will release a list of coming features in our new Support Forum that will come hopefully out next week. The Import of Cost of Goods WC prices from the WC extension to ATUM Purchase Price will be available too.

Regarding 3rd party plugins (Cost of Goods in your example), even thought these from Woocommerce will not be supported by ATUM, unless we think WooCommerce paid extension is better then what we have planned. We plan to develop complete Cost of Goods Premium Add-on later this year ourselves.

Once again, i am very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Hope this helps a little.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel

Haha, I am an idiot and didn’t even see the Purchase Price in the General tab — sorry. I have been focused on inventory. That is fine for placement.

BTW, I was able to do a little custom work with WP All Import and was able to get the Cost to port over for the most part. You may want to connect with them for a little tighter integration as their import/export tool is FANTASTIC!

    Hi there,

Thank you very much. I am glad it got resolved for you.

We all know WP All Import/Export of course, but we do not want or plan to support any 3rd party plugin apart of WPML.

Our Export Import will be based on similar idea, however, for all ATUM/WooCommerce features only including our Premium Add-ons.

Supporting others software takes lot of time and resources and we would not have time to grow ATUM.

    Hope you understand.

    Hello ,

Thank you for the plugin .

I suggest you reconsider supporting 3rd party plugins .

Some of those pluging are around for years and by redeveloping them you will loose focuse on ATUM .

I think integrate ATUM with hand picked of 10-15 pluging would be accelerate your development .

By the way when bulk import-export feature will be released ? by that is it possible to update sales price from excel file ?

what about mutli supplier feature ? Is there anyway to decide wich price will be update after bulk import ?

I think it is good idea to add upcomming features in the change log and also link to change log and upcommig future from main description of plugin .

    Thank you very very much
    Regards

    Hi Mohammad,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I will of course add my comment here, but it would be great if you in the future open a new discussion so it is easier found by other users.

I am very sorry, we will not support 3rd party plugins. We have full integration with WPML and it takes over 1000 Euro per month to only fix compatibility issues and users’ sites related bugs. To introduce paid support for free plugin is not a good idea either. So 3rd party plugin support is a no go unfortunately.

ATUM Export Pro is already in development and it will be a paid feature. Import will be included in the free version after we complete the export plugin. Yes, the import will be able to update prices using the excel file. Unless is a purchase price, there are plugins that can help you import sale prices already. We do not like recommending, but I am sure the WP database will help.

Multi-Supplier and Multi-Inventory is being blue-printed by me as we speak. This feature is not as simple as it seems and I need to assure it will work with every other feature included. We hope to start developing it next week.

Yes, the upcoming features will be released in May on our forum.

    Hope this helps.

    Pavel
