Purchased before date option?

  • Hi,

    Just wondering if there would be any way to set an ‘and if purchased before x date’ filter?

    I’m running a promo and would like only existing customers to be able to purchase a product, however from what I can see there would be nothing to stop a new customer coming along, buying a product in order to become an ‘existing customer’ and then being able to buy it. It would be great to be able to set a date restriction i.e. if a customer purchased before May 1st 2020 they can but, if they purchased after they can’t.

    Ownership dependencies do not currently include a time/date limit. To achieve the result you have in mind using this plugin it is necessary to write a significant amount of custom code. To help you with this, it is a good idea to hire a Developer. Our top recommendation for WordPress/WooCommerce customizations of this scale is https://codeable.io/.

    Alternatively, it might be a good idea taking a look at the official WooCommerce Memberships plugin that allows you to restrict content based on the membership status of each customer. Moreover, this extension allows you to define a time period during which a product will be available for a specific membership.
