    Hi,

I have run several tests on my new Tutor LMS course and am unable to get students into my course. After I (as test student) purchase the course, the student registration page automatically appears. Once the registration page is filled out, the student’s course dashboard appears, but says I am not enrolled in any courses, even though I just paid for one.

When I log into my website as the admin and check the student list on the backend, there are no new “test” students added. But the email I provide at checkout sends the order invoice and my WooCommerce shows the charge, so I am essentially charging students without giving them access to their product.

    What could be causing this?

Also, is there a way for their account details to be emailed to them or some kind of “welcome to your course, here is your account login” information. Because I know they aren’t going to complete my course in one sitting and they will need a handy way to get back in.

The website I am using this for is emilyenger.com.

    Thank you!

  • Hello @engergrove,

Thank you for contacting Themeum support. I hope you are doing well.

Please check their order status from WP admin dashboard > woocommerce orders page. Tutor LMS doesn’t allow access to course contents until their order status changes to completed. Make sure you select simple, virtual and for Tutor under woocommerce product data.

You can automate woocommerce orders from Tutor settings > monetization tab.

Tutor LMS pro plugin sends email notification that includes (site url and course page url) to users after being enrolled in courses but this feature is not included with the free plugin.

    Thank you for the reply!

I already have a plugin that automatically marks my WooCommerce orders as complete. In addition, the “automatically mark woocomerce orders complete” toggle in Tutor LMS’s Monetization tab is checked on. But the issue still persists.

I had noticed before that Tutor LMS’s “automatically mark woocommerce orders as complete” was not working for me–my orders would remain pending even when that was ticked on, which is why I added a third-party plugin to make all my orders complete.

Any other ideas as to what could be causing this?

    Hello @engergrove,

Could you share your website url. Which theme is active now? If you are using a 3rd party custom theme then you can reach out to their support to report this issue as they tend to use a customized version of Tutor LMS with their theme.

If you are using older version of Tutor LMS then please keep a full backup of your site then update your version of Tutor LMS to the latest build. You can also write to https://www.themeum.com/support/ if you would like us to take a deeper look.
