    Hi, W3 Total Cache team

It had never happened before, but I started noticing strange behavior

I have over 100 sites with the Divi theme and W3 Total Cache installed

From now on, only on some sites, when I hover over “Performance” on the top bar and click on “Purge All Caches”, even though I’m on the main WordPress panel, it redirects to the site’s home page

Even if I hover over “Performance” in the side menu and then click on “Dashboard” and then on “empty all caches”, it also redirects to the site’s home page

    This has never happened before

The address that appears in the URL bar looks like this: https://exemple.com.br/?w3tc_note=flush_all

Is this some error? Does the plugin keep working even with this type of behavior?

    Other plugins instaled:

    All-in-One WP Migration
    ManageWP – Worker
    Wordfence Security
    Yoast SEO

I have already deactivated all other plugins and also changed the theme to the default WordPress one, but still the same

    Hello @duodigital

Thank you for reaching out ad I am happy to assist you with this.
Can you please go to Performance>Browser Cache, scroll down to Advanced filed and check the directive set under Referrer-Policy:?
If set to no-referrer-when-downgrade, set it to same-origin save all settings and purge the cache and let me know if the problem persists.
    Thanks!

    Many thanks, Marko

It was defined as “not set”

I changed to “same-origin” and it didn’t redirect

Another thing I noticed is that the warning “Failed to set referrer policy: The value ” is not one of ‘no-referrer’, ‘no-referrer-when-downgrade’, ‘origin’, ‘origin-when-cross- origin’, ‘same-origin’, ‘strict-origin’, ‘strict-origin-when-cross-origin’, or ‘unsafe-url’. The referrer policy has been left unchanged.” no longer appears in “Inspect” (Google Chrome)

    Hello @duodigital

Thank you for the information and I am glad to know the problem is resolved.
As for the warning, this should also be solved by setting same-origin
Can you please confirm you are still seeing this warning or is the problem solved entirely?
    Thanks!
