I found some old cache folders, not cleaned for too long time (07-2020). Seems that while activating/ deactivating plugin some lasts.
The idea is to clean ./wp-content/uploads/cache/fvm/ folder totally while purging the cache.

Sometimes when the cache grows too big, or when the hosting has a slow disk, some files may be left behind. You can either manually purge the directory (after cache purging, it will regenerate again), or enable the instant purge option https://i.imgur.com/gGi0tNi.png if your hosting is supported.

That’s clear, however its quite easy to realize this function inside the plugin, so its just my suggestion, not a support question ??

The function is there and every time a cache purge runs, it’s supposed to delete anything older than a certain date.

For 2020 files, I can only speculate if the file ownership is incorrect, or something else so it didn’t have permission to delete them.

But if you are still seeing months old cache files in the future, please let me know again. Thanks

Yes I was seeing on one of the webs files 2019 and 2020, but all the permissions were correct (im linux administrator)

However I already started migration process on all my webs to another plugin: Merge + Minify + Refresh

    Sorry for this…
