Purpose field is truncated

  • There is a field on the WordPress plugin settings page. Under ‘Defaults’ there is a ‘Purpose’ field which allows for much more text that gets displayed after the Donate button has been pressed. Can the amount of text displayed for the ‘Purpose’ of the payment be increased?

    No facility here to provide a screen capture as far as I can see.
    To reiterate if I enter the following text into the Default | Purpose field on the Setting page of the plugin:

    “If there is too much text entered into this field then after the Donate button is pressed a user will not see all the text with the extra amount of text that cannot be displayed being truncated. Whatever is entered in this field one would expect to be seen by a user who presses the Donate button.”

    when I press the Donate button I will only see “Purpose: If there is too much text entered into this field then after the Donate button is pressed a user will not see all the text with”

    PayPal has a limit on that field. So it can only show a limited number of characters.
