Push Notification Timing Question

  • I am using PayPal Testing Mode.

    It appears that the push notification for the administrator happens AFTER ORDER PLACEMENT but BEFORE PAYMENT.

    Is this by design or am I doing something incorrectly?

    Is the timing of the push notification changed to occur AFTER payment is completed/received WHEN NOT IN TESTING MODE?

    I ask because…

    The timing of this creates the problem of a kitchen making an order before it is payed for or making food for someone that clicks ‘confirm’ but abandons the transaction before paying. Someone in the kitchen would literally have to keep hitting browser refresh until they saw the payment status change.

    Hello,

    The plugin by default shows the notification after an order has been placed. Te thing what you are looking for like the notification after payment done looks like out of the box feature.
