The description says that push notifications were implemented in 1.5, but I don’t see the option in the dashboard.

  • Hello @vgballer,

My name is Arun. Thanks for trying out Super Progressive Web Apps!

The description says: OneSignal integration for Push notifications

I understand the confusion and thanks to your feedback, we will work on ways to better address it. Right now, we are integrating with the OneSignal plugin for push notifications.

Since OneSignal is a very popular option and since they have spent years perfecting their software, and since its completely free, it made total sense to start with them rather than build one our own from the ground up.

    – You will need to install OneSignal – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/onesignal-free-web-push-notifications/
    – Based on your OneSignal configuration, SuperPWA will integrate with it so that everything works in harmony.

Push is new to us, and we are also learning in the process, so any feedback you have will help everyone!

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Best regards.

Good day @vgballer! Glad to inform that as from our current version (IE; version 1.8), SuperPWA is supporting OneSignal. As for working SuperPWA with OneSignal you need to do a small change within the OneSignal settings page.

Please have a look on the steps at this article to setup OneSignal with SuperPWA, so that you can make it more easily. We’re eagerly looking for your feedback’s and to know how it turns out for you.

Closing this thread due to lack of activity and OneSignal is now supporting with our plugin for push notifications. If you have any issues, please don’t hesitate to open a thread , so that we can help you more.
