put a simple & subscription product on same page for guest checkout

Hi – I really need help with this because it is affecting my sales.

I have a product that is both simple and has a subscription option. As a result initially it was put in as a variable subscription.

I am having two problems as a result of this:
1) repeat customers who buy the product without the subscription are getting forced to login and don’t have a guest checkout option – which is the main reason I’m losing business. People don’t want to login and have accounts created etc.

2) when the email goes out, even when it’s not subscription it is showing that it is a subscription causing a lot of confusion.

Is there a way for me to separate the simple products and the subscription and have them co-exsist on the same page? There must be way – so any help would be greatly appreciated!
