Put a specific sidebar just in Job Offer page

“offerte-lavoro” seems to be a custom post type. Roughly translates to “job offer”.

So somehow you need a plugin or other custom code that can change the widgets that are shown based on the post type of the current post being displayed. This page may help:

All my jobs go under “offerta-lavoro” (i.e. https://www.digital-coach.it/offerte-lavoro/community-manager-telecom-italia/) but I cannot understand what type of permalink is that.

Is it a category? A page? A post?

I need just that you point me in the right direction, I don’t ask the solution, because I created a widget and I tried to show it just in this post/page/category type, but I cannot find right choice in the drop down menu.

So, I know that I could solve with PHP code maybe, but I need to know what’s “offerta-lavoro” page type, if it’s possible.

That’s because that URL doesn’t exist.

For example: on your blog you have blog posts. Sometimes those posts are in categories. To see all blog posts in the “ecommerce” category, you go here:

But notice, if you just go here:

https://www.digital-coach.it/category/

… that page doesn’t exist. It doesn’t exist because “category” isn’t a post or page by itself. The situation with this URL:

https://www.digital-coach.it/offerta-lavoro

… is the same.

You’d need to use a plugin like Widget Logic:

… that can show or hide widgets based on all sorts of criteria (one of which is the post type of the current page).
