put events into newsletters

I’d like to take the events on WP Event Manager and put them into our weekly newsletter. I found a plugin called Events Calendar Newsletter that claims to work with WPEM by generating HTML code that cam be dropped into the newsletter program. Do you have experience with ECM? Do you know of others? … Thanks
