Putting a site under another as a subdomain

  • I need help figuring out the best way to add a website under another website without having to change the theme.

    Here is what my client wants.

    They currently have two wordpress sites. He was told that if you put the two wordpress sites together under one domain like this https://www.firstname.com/secondname he would get a higher google rating. He wants both sites to stay and look the way they are currently looking. Is this possible?

    Can anyone explain to me how to do this? Thanks in advance.

  • Your client needs to study more SEO and you too, this way you will see that the domains and subdomain doesn’t have any influence in the google ratins. What really imports is your contents, and links that show your site in other pages and social midias

    Thanks for you opinion. But my client wants to still bring the two domains under one website. So can anyone else help me with this??

    Well right or wrong, you would activate Multisite, make a second site with a theme the way you want, and import the content.

    (Your client is wrong, by the way, and if YOU are hired as the expert, it’s your job to explain to him that it doesn’t matter. CONTENT matters. URLs can, but in this case, if both URLs are on the same domain, there’s no SEO benefit or loss.)
