Putting an RSS feed on a static style web page..

    I havent worked with RSS feeds before so bear with me. And I have limited php skill. But I would like to know if i have a correct understanding here, ive read large amounts of info on using RSS but am still foggy lol..

    I have turned my wordpress site into a static web site. It has at least 10 pages of different content. Most of those pages will not change. But at least two of them will have updates to copy, and I would like users to be notified of these changes (race results etc)

    Would RSS feeds be appropriate to use here?

    My page copy is modified using the pages link in the admin panel.

    Could someone please tell me if im off the mark here with trying to set up RSS?
