Correct. I’d definitely prefer that. I honestly looked everywhere I could think of, but I’m not a developer, so I probably didn’t even know what I was looking for.

Basically you create a menu and assign the menu to the “Primary Menu” location which is a setting below the menu screen in the admin.

Thank you so much!! I thought I had did that, but somehow it didn’t get saved.

One last question which you may or may not be able to answer. The links I have are top level pages, but a couple have lower level pages beneath them. Is it possible to somehow show those when the user hovers over the top level page link? I’ve had that ability in other themes, but don’t know if this one has it.

Regarding your last question, it sounds like you are talking about submenus. This is also done from that first tutorial link:

on that page, scroll down to this “Creating Multi-level Menus” and that will show how to create submenu levels.
