Hello! LOVE this calendar. Use it on a few sites.

On one of my installations, I am running this Timely events calendar on Genesis framework and I am having a heck of a time getting my single day events to display on a full (or partial) width page. As you can see the even is smashed. See this here: https://screencast.com/t/s53igqibG9UO

I have researched this enough to know that this has to do with my theme. Genesis framework has a great way of allowing you choose what page template you want to use (see this https://screencast.com/t/7VdvaR5oS16)

I also know how to “hide” using CSS the sidebars, but that doesn’t work. The theme still uses the 3 column setup since all other pages we use this.

I do see that when I go to Events -> Organize ->(of of my categories), it does display the option to change this (see this here: https://screencast.com/t/yLjzoUBde), but it doesn’t work as you can see I have

I need to be able to display single day events on either full width or partial width so it doesn’t smash the map, etc.

I hope that the makers can help me as I see they haven’t been on this forum for over 5 months.

    Thanks again.

  • I too use the Genesis framework with a child theme. What I did was select the full-page width as the default page layout for the theme. Next I selected the other page layouts for the pages I needed the sidebar-content, content-sidebar, sidebar-content-sidebar, etc… on those pages themselves.

    Give it a try.

That worked! I have no idea why I didn’t think of that! Thank you very much!

well, the issue here is that now the event pages are full width as well as the calendar page. I want the calendar full and the event pages with a sidebar!

    Figured it out….
