Putting up banner ads

    Can anyone help me upload a banner ad to my blog? I’m massively un-technical so all the online forums have confused me before I’ve even started. Don’t even know what a widget is.
    Someone has sent me 1) series of pics to use as banner ads, and 2) link to a personal page for me for their website.

    How do I
    1) get that picture onto my page
    2) link it?

    Huge thanks in advance. Absolutely no idea what I’m doing.

    I am really sorry to hear that you are having trouble. I will try to help you out.

    It would be great if you can give me more details, the ad location where you want to place, Ad Server which you will be using. Site link would be more appreciated.

    Looks like you got those banners posted in your sidebar widget area – are you all set?

    Juhi, Kathryn – thank you both, I finally got it sorted (I think). I needed to get my head around the dashboard, plug-ins, widgets and coding. Now I can get to work on splitting the atom!
