PW Protected Page Issue

When I enter the password for a protected page, nothing happens and will time out. Private page works.

I’ve done quite a bit of troubleshooting and still no joy…

1. Changed themes (Neve, Neve Child, 2021)
2. Disabled plugins one by one
3. Disabled all plugins / tried all themes
4. Added Function to exclude page from Autoptomize plugin

Probably something simple I’ve overlooked, though cannot think of anything else to try. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Note: I have another site with pw protected pages using same theme and they work correctly.

WP 5.7.2, PHP 7.0.33 (memory_limit 768M), Mac OS 10.14.6, All Themes & Plugins current
