• Wordfence is not compatible with AMP. Are there any good comparable or any compatible security plugins for WP w/ AMP.

What does everyone use to help secure a PWA/AMP site?

    Hi there,

Is there any particular reason why you’re using an AMP site? The reason I ask is that AMP sites are not as great as most people tend to make them out to be, although it may sound intriguing since most end users can load particular resources faster which makes for a better UX, but there has long been controversy over the use of AMP. Although this is just me speaking personally, I would recommend not using AMP since it is known for having issues especially with site validation and the loss of power over your site.

However, I’m currently not aware of any security plugins that are made “exclusively” for AMP sites as most of these security plugins are enqueuing scripts that will be stripped from the plugin. Most if not all security plugins should work with AMP, but AMP itself has been known for having potential security vulnerabilities.

    Regards,
    Tyler
