Pytheas Slider do not appear at the homepage

  • I have a problem with the slider function of the pytheas wordpress theme. I have created 2 sliders (with pictures of the Pytheas demo site and also other photos), but on the homepage there is nothing to see (www.hsstaw.at). Where can be the problem?

  • Hello wbebl, i’ve used it too, and also i have found the same problem, but today i solve it, in a peculiar way:

    “Go to ‘Theme options‘ and then go to ‘Slide‘. Change the options, save it, and change it again, play with it, and take a look to your web. It isn’t logic, but it works, at least for me.”

    I was having the same problem, the solution is to set the image we want as a slide as the Featured image, when adding or editing the slide.

    I also have a problem with the sliders of phyteas theme. Would someone be nice enough to write me a tutorial? I’ve tried every single “solution” I could find, nothing worked….

    You have to change the template attribute from the homepage to Home.

    I was having the same issue and solved it using the tip given by jlmur.

    I was having the same problem, the solution is to set the image we want as a slide as the Featured image, when adding or editing the slide.

    First, I was attempting to set my slider by going to the tab ‘Slides’, adding media, and publishing the slide. This slider was not showing up on the home screen this way.

    To get it to work, go to the ‘Slides’ tab but instead of clicking ‘add media’, click on ‘Set Featured Media’ (located on the right hand side). Add the image you want on your slider and publish.

    That should be all that you need to get it working. Good luck!
