Pytheas theme broken with plugin "Symple Shortcode" 2.0

  • Hi folks,

    lately I updated the plugin “Symple Shortcodes” to its latest version 2.0.0 (from 1.6). Obviously some important changes were made regarding the icon handling, because all of a sudden my icons (social icons etc.) pre-installed on my Pythes theme were completely gone. I found out that Pytheas uses the Fontawesome icon set. I tried to update the FontAwesome veriosn via a line in the header.php, but that didn’t work.

    After deactivating the Symple Shortcodes plugin the icons are back again. But since I have made many static sites with Symple Shortcodes I would like to solve this problem rather than to re-write all of my pages.

    Every hint is highly appreciated.
