    I enabled email notification in the Q & A section and then set it in the email tab

    In Send Test, I can successfully receive the email, but I submit a question, and then use the administrator account to reply to the question, I did not receive a email notification

    There is no mail sending record in Post SMTP Email Log

    how to fix it

    Thank you for using CusRev.

    The feature Q&A email notification uses the WordPress function wp_mail() to send the email and it might not work properly on your hosting if it is not supported or configured correctly. You can try to use the plugin WP Mail SMTP plugin to fix this issue.

    I am using this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-smtp/

    All other emails are sent normally, such as user registration, user place an order, including Customer Reviews for WooCommerce plugin to send request review emails are sent, I don’t know why Q & A Reply Notifications are not sent, in Post SMTP Email Log does not even have a record of Reply Notifications being sent, which means that Reply Notifications have never been sent!

    As I can see the plugin Post SMTP also supports other plugins that use the function wp_mail() to send emails. So can you please contact their support to ask for help with this issue?

    The same issue here.

    When I reply to a question from the Q & A admin panel the email notification is not sent but if I reply to the question from the product page the email notification is sent.

    Sounds like a bug in the plugin.

    Using the Query Monitor plugin I noticed when I click the “Reply” button on the Q & A admin panel this error is logged:

    PHP errors were triggered during an Ajax request. See your browser developer console for details.

    and this is logged in the browser developer console:

    Searching for the error on the web I found this: Ajax Error in Comment Admin

    but removing the trail space from function.php did not help.

    I solved the XML Parsing Error I mentioned above (which was caused by one of the plugins). The mail still is not sent when I reply from the Q & A admin panel.

    Q & A notification issue should be solved in the version 5.0.0 of the plugin. Please install the latest version and let us know if you experience any problems.
