• I’m having difficulty doing something that I think should be very simple, but I’m just not seeing it.

I want to create a single page containing a list of my podcasts, e.g.,

    – podcast 1
    – podcast 2

    – podcast n

Two questions: First, can this be done? Second, since I also want these podcasts referenced on iTunes, will putting them on a single page screw up the feed URL?

    Thanks, in advance,

    Michael

  • We provide support for PowerPress at the Blubrry Forums, forum.blubrry.com.

Your question is too vague, I’m not clear if you mean podcast as in episode, or podcast as in a separate series of episodes in a podcast channel or category.

Assuming you mean episode, you want each episode in a separate post for syndication purposes. Putting all of the media files in one post will not work as far as distributing through your podcast feed.

You can use the PowerPress shortcode to insert a player in your posts/pages, at that point you can insert as many different episodes as you want when linking to the media file. for example in one page/post you can insert…

    [powerpress url=”https://www.example.com/path/to/media1.mp3″%5D
    [powerpress url=”https://www.example.com/path/to/media2.mp3″%5D
    [powerpress url=”https://www.example.com/path/to/media3.mp3″%5D

Most of your listeners/viewers come from your feed syndicating, so you still have to do 1 post for 1 episode, otherwise you will forf

Thank you, Amandato. Yours was just the answer I was looking for.
