• Hi,

I am extremely new to PHP, but I am well versed in CSS, HTML. I recently installed Event Organiser. So far, I like it. I am setting up a WordPress site that has both a English and French version. I installed qTranslate to do this. (Visitors can choose which language they want) It works great.

I would like to know if I can configure Event organizer to translate “on the fly”. Meaning, when “French” is selected on my site, the Widgets and Event Organiser to also translate.

How would I do that, if it is possible? Thanks!

Hi Cold Iron Chef, does qTranslate not handle that? (I’ve never tested it).

    Hi,

Sorry for taking so long to respond.

Everything translates fine, except for the event page it self, as well as the entry in the Calendar.

The title displays the Qtranslate code in the calender and sidebar:
    <!–:en–>Test Event English<!–:–><!–:fr–>Exemple d’évènement Fran?ais<!–:–>

I don’t know how to fix this.

While I am able to use Qtranslate’s short codes to translate things like “Date/Time” and “Categories”. It does not translate “All day” or “No categories”.

Also, I do not want “This entry was posted by admin. Bookmark the permalink.” to show to the bottom.

    Thanks!
