qTranslate Compatibility

Hi there, I can get the shortcodes for qTranslate working in the Snippet title (e.g. [:en]ABC[:de]DEF), but it doesn’t work in the body of the Snippet content. I’ve also tried the alternative tags <!–:en–>ABC<!–:–><!–:de–>DEF<!–:–>, but nor does it work. I’m probably missing something glaringly obvious, but I can’t put a finger on it. Any advice would be appreciated.
