qtranslate no longer working on pages created after child theme installed

Hi,

I’m using qtranslate with WP afterlight theme. It is working well and works on all the pages I created before I created and child theme to work on. Now, any new pages are marked “Languages are not set” even though the language switcher works and I enter two different language pages (within the same page). Can you tell me what’s happening? I’m not a programmer ! Thank you !!
