• I am looking for a way to let users to upload a file (txt, doc, zip, pdf, jpg, etc.) or a bunch of files, along with the ticket description text, and it should add a link into the ticket. It would be perfect with a logo and file info.

Many plugins are managing files via the admin area, but with the Quality Control theme, the purpose is to do it on the visitor side. As “tickets” in this theme are not “comments”, so I believe there is no suitable plugins ?

I don’t see anything here related to files. I have struggled for a while to get stable quality file upload integration for my site.

My solution eventually was the cforms plugin. Its not in the plugin repo, google it.

I’m not sure if it can be adapted for your needs….its a fairly advanced form plugin. It allows file uploads. It also has custom settings for what to do with the info submitted. Perhaps it can be configured for your needs

There is a link to upload an attachment when updating a ticket. However, by default, you are only allowed to upload whatever WordPress allows by default. However, there are plugins that allow you to change that.

Yes, there is a link to send an attachment when creating a ticket, but I thought it was a bug as nothing is uploaded. Updating the ticket and adding an attachment works as expected.
Can you please make it work this way when we create a new ticket?
Thank you. This theme seems so promising and full of possibilities. I like it!

There actually was a bug. The new version should be out soon. Sorry about that!
