• Theres a level of eloquence about this plugin design and UI.

I particularly like the user interface for creating and editing maps. The Google Map Display options and the Google Map Control Options are dead simple.

The set up is super quick and very intuitive, though this is not an “activate and run” plugin. You have to supply your Google API key or create one on the Google site.

And if the Dashboard menu location default of 25 causes the Google Maps item not to show, you may have to change it in the plugin settings. Menu position 60 worked for me.

Thanks for the great review! You actually do NOT need to enter a Google Places API key – it’s only to retrieve additional place details is when it’s beneficial. So for instance, if you do not enter it in then you may not receive reviews for a particular business. With it entered in then you get more data.
