quantity not displaying for variable product

    I have added a variable product with three options. All works fine except that I can’t add more than one product of each option to the cart and the quantity field that usually displays in the cart or on the product page is not there. I have tried to add the same variation more than once (of the ones which are in stock as multiples) but there is a message saying that I cannot add more than one item. Any help to fix this wld be very much appreciated.

    Hi there!

    Have you checked to make sure the “Sold Individually” checkbox is not selected for that product? You can find that under Products > All Products > YOUR VARIABLE PRODUCT > Product Data > Sold Individually.

    Alternatively: Are you seeing that on EVERY variable product or just that one? I’m asking as I’d like to check for any patterns ??

    Hi there,

    Thank you so much for your response! Unticking the box solved the mystery! I was told by customer support to tick it!

    Got another question, when connecting a variable product with product images being loaded for each type to my Facebook shop, it doesn’t show the overall product image but shows once of the variety images. All variable products are linked to the FB shop with one of the variation being selected. Can this be changed at all to have nothing preselected as on the website?

    As Facebook has developed this plugin themselves, they also handle the support for it.

    The things they are looking for when you contact them are:

    1. Facebook Page URL
    2. WordPress and WooCommerce version number
    3. Facebook Plugin version number
    4. How many products you have
    5. Types of products (i.e. anything besides simple/variable products won’t work)
    6. Do you have Duplicate SKUs in your system?
    7. What kind of customization plugins you’re using (if any)?

    Hi RK,

    Your previous comment was helpful, although I am having the same problem with the plugin, size variations and prices seem to be limited to one and the variations aren’t showing up in Facebook. Although the ‘sold individually’ box is not ticked. What could I be doing wrong?
