Query Loop Inherit query from template doesn’t work

  • Hi there,

    I’m using the GenerateBlocks plugin alongside Astra Pro’s Site Builder feature.

    When I choose “Inherit query from template”, with the intention of this page to be used as a template for all archive category pages, it doesn’t show any posts on the page.

    The default wordpress query loop “Inherit query from template” does work and show the correct posts…

    Any idea? Could it be the Astra Pro Site Builder interfering with GenerateBlocks being able to “Inherit query from template”?

    Or could there be an error with GenerateBlocks’ “Inherit query from template” implementation?

    Hi there,

    the Query Loops option to inherit query from template, works with block templates in a core block theme and it also works with the GeneratePress Premium elements module.

    Unfortunately we cannot debug issues that could be related to a 3rd party premium addon.
