Query Loop not fully populating columns

    I am using Twenty Twenty-Three and FSE to style the site. I have a Query Loop on the search results page and use a Post Template for the results. It’s set to show three columns (there is no setting to control HOW many results per page). But i shows 5 results leaving a blank spot for #6. How do I set the number of results per page?

    I did figure out that if i turn OFF “Inherit query from template”, I can specify the number but then it doesn’t do pagination anymore. Is there a global setting somewhere for search results?

    Hi @gmariani405 – if you’re using the inherited query – it will use the same count of results that are used for displaying posts generally.

    That’s something you can edit by going to Settings > Reading in your admin menu.

    bah, i knew it was something simple. Thanks for reminding me about that connection! It’s working as expected now.
