query_posts() for showing only 1 category

  • im trying to only show 1 specific news post category by doing this before The Loop:

    query_posts(‘cat=4’);

    but unfortunately it is still showing all of the categories

    nevermind it was just a bug in my own code

    what did you do to get it to work?? are your previous and next post links still working?? I am trying to do the same but cannot get my previous and next posts links to function properly… I am getting a 404 error… what did you do to get it to work?
