    The comments are saved as HTML (the compiled result from Markdown). Since generally commenters aren’t able to edit comments, I simplified the plugin by ignoring the Markdown version once it’s converted.

    Thanks for the precision. On my blog, commenters are able to edit comments but I do prefer a regular HTML save ??
