Question About Cache Invalidation
-
We are using the AWS for WordPress Plugin as described in the following blog: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/networking-and-content-delivery/accelerating-wordpress-with-cloudfront-using-the-aws-for-wordpress-plugin/.
The only difference between the blog post and our case is that we are not using Lightsail. Our WordPress site is hosted by another provider (not AWS) and we have the WordPress site fronted by CloudFront as described in the blog. How does the plugin handle on demand cache invalidations? By on demand, I mean for example if an existing blog post or other asset changes/is updated we would like the cache to be invalidated right away rather than waiting for the TTL to expire on the CloudFront distribution.
