Question about Digital Downloads

Normally I would just install the free version and find out for myself, but in this case I have a question about a premium plugin and our use case in general. Our primary use case is digital asset delivery for completed jobs with the ability to download either the entire package in one shot, or individual files, all access protected and at 0 cost (which means not even asking for payment info etc.) Secondary and tertiary use cases would be for comment/feedback/collaboration and end user uploads.

If we were to install Sunshine Photo Cart, and purchase the digital downloads premium package is this a supportable scenario?
